Tabbouleh Recipe:
1 pound bulgar/cracked wheat
4 oz fresh lemon juice
1 pound diced tomotoes with their juices
2 bunches, freshly diced parsley
salt & pepper to taste
lemon juice to taste
1 bunch green onions diced
In a bowl, mix the bulgar with the lemon juice. Let sit for 10 minutes. Then add the tomotoes and their juices and let it sit on top of the bulgar for 10 minutes. Add parsley and mix. Then add salt, pepper, olive oil and lemon juice to taste. Mix and let sit in the fridge for at least 1 hour or up to overnight. Serve on a white platter or in a bowl and garnish with the diced green onions.
