Bourbon BBQ Sauce
- 2 C ketchup
- 1/2 C mild-flavored (light) molasses
- 1/3 C bourbon
- 1/4 C Dijon mustard
- 3 tablespoons Hot Sauce (use your favorite)
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons paprika (smoked paprika is a fun twist)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste

Combine all ingredients in large saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer uncovered until sauce thickens and flavors blend, stirring frequently, about 15 minutes. Cool completely before sealing and storing in the cooler. Can make 1 week ahead.
