Marketplace
Twin Liquors Marketplace was designed to be a hub of wine and spirits knowledge, as well as a friendly neighborhood resource showcasing thousands of products.
Located in the heart of Austin, the 15,000-square-foot Twin Liquors Marketplace features all of the style, knowledgeable customer service and friendly neighborhood ambiance Central Texans have come to know and love. But, this Marketplace store also includes an extensive product inventory, several dining and tasting areas, a wine bar, a massive wine cellar and a cigar humidor.
The store’s 20-foot-long, granite-topped wine-tasting bar is a grand space. Here, customers can participate in daily wine and spirits tastings, learn firsthand about wine and food pairings and attend educational seminars led by Twin Liquors’ many wine authorities including Ross Outon, Certified Specialist of Wine.

With a strong emphasis on education, Twin Liquors Marketplace provides a unique venue for wine and spirits classes, dinners and special events. The store’s 50-seat classroom regularly hosts wine and spirits classes for the public and provides visiting winemakers an outlet for sharing their products and stories with the public and with Twin Liquors’ own associates. And because the classroom is easily converted into a dining room for nearly 40 guests, Marketplace also hosts wine-pairing dinners highlighting Austin’s finest restaurants and winemakers.
Marketplace’s climate-controlled cellar houses a floor to ceiling library collection of Twin Liquors’ rare back vintages, making it easier for customers to locate that special bottle of first-growth Bordeaux or a hard-to-find vertical vintage from Harlan Estate. The cellar also features its own private dining room, an intimate and elegant space where visiting winemakers and chefs can share their delightful libations and recipes with guests.
The store’s Spanish-cedar-lined cigar humidor showcases nearly 1,000 cigars, offering shoppers access to one of Austin’s largest and most notable cigar selections.
Marketplace’s modern accessories include a sound system designed to produce various types of music for each individual area of the store. The shop’s inventory features more than 7,000 different wines and thousands of varieties of spirits, but Marketplace is far from an oversized, dusty warehouse. The store was designed similarly to Twin Liquors’ neighborhood stores, incorporating the familiar elements of oak wood shelving, natural stone, granite and limestone that provide an intimate, Tuscan ambiance. And as champions of the environment, Twin Liquors developed the Marketplace location using many green-building products and practices, thereby reducing the store’s environmental footprint.
